Oro Valley husband arrested for attempted murder

On June 9, 2016, Mr. Majewski was sentenced to life in the Arizona State Mental Hospital.

On April 12, 2015, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Pima County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 9-1-1 call reference an Unknown Problem at a residence in the 12800 block of North Como Drive. Upon arrival, they found a woman lifeless at the residence.

George-MajewskiDeputies performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the woman. She was subsequently transported to Oro Valley Hospital, where she remains on life support. Detectives with the Sheriff’s Homicide Unit responded and took over the investigation.

The victim’s husband, identified as 62-year-old George A. Majewski, was also present. Based on statements made by Majewski, it appears that he physically assaulted his wife. As a result, Majewski was arrested on a charge of Attempted First Degree Murder. He was booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Complex.

The investigation continues.
