Anjem Choudary launched a Twitter campaign immediately after news broke about the attack today’s Muhammad Art Exhibit event at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas, according to the Wisconsin Daily Independent. Choudary (@anjemchoudary) tweeted, “#garlandshooting we must learn the lessons from Rushdie, Hirsi Ali, Theo Van Gogh & Chalie Hebdo not to insult the Messenger Muhammad (saw)!”

Police suspect the vehicle may contain an incendiary device and the bomb squad is on the scene. The surrounding businesses including Academy Sports, Walmart and Sam’s are being evacuated. Event participants are also being evacuated from the Curtis Culwell
Choudary is a British Muslim Juhadist, who wrote in an op-ed for USAToday after the Charlie Hebdo masacre, “Contrary to popular misconception, Islam does not mean peace but rather means submission to the commands of Allah alone. Therefore, Muslims do not believe in the concept of freedom of expression, as their speech and actions are determined by divine revelation and not based on people’s desires.”
