Tucson Police look for bank robber with or without wig

On September 4, 2012, at approximately 10:48 a.m., Tucson Police Department officers responded to the Compass Bank inside the Albertson’s located at 1350 North Silverbell Road after an employee called 911 to report that a robbery had just occurred. Upon arrival, officers confirmed that the suspect had fled the bank prior to their arrival and that no one was injured during the incident.

Witnesses were unsure if the man described as Hispanic or Indian male, 5’11’’ tall, 200 pounds, 40 to 50 years of age, wearing a blue tshirt, dark shorts, dark tennis shoes and white socks was wearing a wig.

Tucson Police detectives responded to continue the investigation. They learned that the suspect entered the bank and presented a note to the teller demanding money and threatening harm. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and left in an unknown direction once outside the Albertson’s.

Tucson Police are asking anyone with information on the identity of this suspect is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
