VA Health Care System To Hold Town Hall

Veterans and their families are invited to participate in the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System’s (SAVAHCS) town-hall meeting to discuss health care programs and services on Monday June 22, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the R.E. Lindsey Jr. Auditorium, located in building 4 at the main Tucson VA campus at 3601 South 6th Avenue.

The meeting is open to all members of the public, including Congressional stakeholders, Veterans Service Organizations, state and local governmental and non-governmental organizations, and other community partners.

Town-hall meetings are held quarterly and provide an opportunity to improve communications with, and hear directly from our Veterans. These quarterly town-hall events are an important step toward improving the delivery of benefits and services and rebuilding trust among all those VA serves.

Tucson VA representatives will be on hand to assist Veterans during and after the town-hall meeting with issues related to their care and benefits. Members of our Eligibility and Enrollment staff will also be available to answer questions related to eligibility for healthcare and provide assistance to Veterans wishing to enroll.

Please note, due to auditorium capacity, seating will be limited to 75 – 100 people, if you plan to attend, we encourage you to arrive early and doors will open at 12:30 p.m.
