Teen Driver Dies In Maricopa County Rollover

Just before 4:00 p.m. on Friday, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of 339th Avenue and Indian School just east in reference to a single vehicle rollover. Details on the call stated a group of teens were on their way home from high school when the vehicle they were in rolled over, ejecting the 17 year old female driver.

Sheriff’s deputies and fire personnel responded to the scene were the driver was pronounced dead.

The other three passengers 14 year old female, 17 year old female and 18 year old male suffered minor injuries and were treated by the Fire Department.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Detectives say it is unknown what factors led to the rollover at this time.
