The LeMarch fire has been measured by the Forest Service and found to have burned an estimated 250 acres instead of the originally estimated 500 acres.
The exact cause of the fire has not been determined, however there was a storm passing through at the beginning of the fire with extensive reports of lightning which could have initiated the burn.
There is containment at this time and the US Forest Service will remain on scene in command until the fire has been extinguished.
