One of our favorite moments at todays Labor Day Picnic at Reid Park in Tucson, AZ. A few of our members wanted to make sure Councilor Regina Romero – Ward 1 knows SCAB labor/Union busting isn’t ok.

This past Monday was Labor Day and the Sun Tran bus drivers of Tucson were on the longest strike in city history. They are also mad at the city council which has failed to act on this pressing issue; so mad to the point that they confronted at least one councilmember, Regina Romero, on video for selling out and allowing Sun Tran to hire scab labor to bust the union strike. Another councilmember left in tears.
