Shortly after 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office was advised of a motorcycle accident near the bridge on Charleston Road. Upon Deputies arrival they located a man who was unresponsive and a female who was not breathing and both victims were deceased at the scene.
The initial investigation indicates that a 56 year old Sierra Vista resident and his 50 year old wife were riding a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Charleston Road towards Sierra Vista near 5:00 pm.
The motorcycle appears to have gone off the edge of the roadway causing the driver to lose control and the motorcycle going down.
