Arpaio Toy Patrol, St. Vincent de Paul To Distribute Record Number of Christmas Gifts

For many years running, Sheriff Joe Arpaio and the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Youth Assistance Foundation has partnered with community businesses and with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul to distribute toys to needy children at Christmastime.

This Christmas eve, they are set to distribute the greatest number of toys they have ever collected during the holiday season.

“The generous nature of our donors is going to make many, many children happy,” said Sheriff Arpaio. “I’m sure we will see tons of smiles!”

On Thursday, December 24, 2015, at 9:00 a.m., Sheriff Arpaio will be on hand, along with Santa Claus, at the St. Vincent de Paul location at 420 W. Watkins Street in Phoenix to hand out presents.

Helping to unload Santa’s sleigh will be staff members from St. Vincent de Paul, Youth Assistance Foundation Board Members & Families, Jobs For Arizona Graduates (JAG) Board & Students and CVS Management and Families.

CVS Pharmacies Valley-wide helped in the collection effort by setting up displays in their stores that enabled valued customers to make donations. Thanks to all who contributed to this wonderful cause.
