Gila River Casino Shooter Sought By Police

On December 24, 2015, the Gila River Police Department was contacted by Wild Horse Hotel and Casino for reports of a suspicious man with a gun. Minutes later the man, believed to be 25 year old Frank Rojas, shot and killed 52 year old Frank Pascua in the parking lot.

Rojas then stole a car from another victim, who was driving by and assisting immediately after the shooting occurred.

Multiple agencies are assisting with locating Rojas, who is currently at large.

Rojas is considered to be armed and dangerous.

The shooting victim, Frank Pascua was a retired Bakersfield, California Police officer.
