Pinal County Sheriff’s Office dispatch received several 911 calls just before noon reporting a small plane had crashed near Ralston and Papago roads in western Pinal County. Deputies arrived to find the burning aircraft wreckage on Peters and Nall Road west of Ralston Road.
Although the plane was listed as a single-seat aircraft, when the wreckage was recovered, a second victim was found. There are now two deceased persons in this crash, according to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office.
PCSO is identifying the pilot as Jeffrey Pino, a 61-year-old Chandler, Ariz. resident.
