On Tuesday, Goodyear Police & Fire responded to Centerra Mirage Elementary School in Goodyear. Seven students between the ages of 12 and 15 years old said to have taken pills distributed by 2 students.
Parents of the students involved were notified, and 6 students were transported to a hospital.
According to police, all injuries were non-life-threatening.
A student had collapsed at approximately 1:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Later, other students went to the nurse’s office complaining of lethargy, and abdominal pain.
