On Saturday afternoon, on the Carefree HWY near mile post 23, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputies safely removed 3 pipe bombs from a stolen vehicle. Deputies arrested the driver of the vehicle, Michelle L. Buck DOB 09/07/1974,who was driving with no license.
The vehicle was rented out of Jacksonville Florida and it was reported stolen by the rental company. Deputies searched the vehicle and found meth and a meth pipe. When deputies asked the passenger of the vehicle, Charles G. Scott DOB 01/19/1965, if there was any other weapons, drugs or bombs in the car he made comments that there might be explosives in the vehicle. Sheriff’s Bomb squad responded and located what appeared to be pipe bombs which they removed and rendered safe.
