Bomb Threats, Suspicious Packages Cause Pima, AZ Evacuations

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich’s paranoia has become a hot topic around government water coolers lately, but on Tuesday paranoia was justified when the AG’s Phoenix office was evacuated for a bomb threat.

A bomb threat, referencing the Middle East was received on the AG’s consumer-complaints line shortly before noon.

Over 600 employees were evacuated from the AG’s office buildings

A hoax forced Pima County Recorder’s Office employees to evacuate their offices on Tuesday. A “suspicious package” was found in the parking garage.

According to sources, the Tucson Police Department’s bomb squad, which has beenunable to respond to requests for assistance due to equipment failures inspected the package.
