Arizona Corporation Commissioners gave Trico Electric Cooperative the go-ahead to expand its services in Pinal County.
Trico, a non-profit and member owned cooperative, currently serves more than 43,000 meters. The extension will cover an area 35 miles northwest of Tucson where two master planned communities will be developed. Sundance Ridge community will be comprised of 1,650 acres and the SaddleBrooke division another 51 acres. Trico already serves customers in the earlier phases of those communities’ developments.
