On Sunday, May 15, 2016 at approximately 2:00 p.m., the Flagstaff Police Department received a call from a victim who had run into a hotel at 2918 E. Route and advised she had been traveling with a wanted suspect out of Colorado.
The Flagstaff Police Department had just received information on the suspect identified as 30 year old Kenneth Ray Bastidos, who is wanted for homicide which occurred on May 4, 2016 in Adams County Colorado.

Bastidos is considered armed and dangerous, and is driving a vehicle described as a 2014 white Toyota Corolla with a front aftermarket black colored bumper (similar to the one depicted above). The vehicle he was driving was bearing a white drive out sticker in the rear upper back window.

Flagstaff Police Department officers located the vehicle on 7th Avenue and attempted to stop the car near Steves and 7th, only to have the vehicle flee. The vehicle continued at a high rate of speed along east Route 66 and continued driving erratically and eventually drove around Mall Way then continued west on Route 66 and then onto west bound I-40 from Country Club, where the Department of Public Safety continued the pursuit and lost sight of the vehicle at the I/17 and I/40 (south) interchange.

The suspect has threatened “suicide by cop”. The Flagstaff Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating this vehicle and the driver. If located do not approach and call 911 immediately.

Bastidos is described as a Hispanic male, 5’8, 180 lbs.
