As of 8 p.m. 68,231 ballots have been tabulated in the Phoenix City Council race. The results are:
Council District 2: Virgel Cain – 4,187 (23.69 percent); Jim Waring – 13,488 (76.31 percent).
Council District 4: Jeffrey Brown – 222 (2.12 percent); Dan Carroll – 564 (5.39 percent); Scott Fistler – 257 (2.45 percent); Austin Head – 347 (3.31 percent); Justin Johnson – 3,629 (34.66 percent); David Lujan – 2,000 (19.10 percent); Laura Pastor – 3,452 (32.97 percent).
Council District 6: Sal DiCiccio – 15,625 (54.38 percent); Karlene Keogh Parks – 13,106 (45.62 percent).
Council District 8: Kate Gallego – 5,185 (47.56 percent); Carolyn T. Lowery – 341 (3.13 percent); Lawrence A. Robinson – 1,735 (15.91 percent); Luis F. Rodriguez – 1,302 (11.94 percent); Warren Stewart – 2,340 (21.46 percent).
Of the 68,231 ballots cast, 67,333 were early ballots.
