This past Friday, the family of Ayeesha Day, reported the theft of a memorial highway cross (pictured) taken from Highway 69, milepost 264, near Spring Valley, Arizona. Ayeesha was killed following an accident at the location in January. She was 16-years-old at the time.
The brass cross was constructed by students at Mayer High School and displays Ayeesha’s name, birthdate and date of death. The cross is about 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide and was taken sometime between the 15th and 18th of July, 2014.
