On August 19, 2014, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a theft from a mailbox. The victim told authorities that besides some regular personal mail, a set of season tickets for the University of Arizona football games were taken as well.
On August 26, 2014, the authorities received information that the tickets were being offered for sale on Craig’s List. Deputies were able to arrange a meeting with the seller for the same day. During the exchange of the stolen tickets with an undercover deputy, the seller was taken into custody. He was identified as Emilio Pesina, age 26.
Pesina was arrested and later booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Complex on a charge of Trafficking in Stolen Property.
