
The Tucson Police Department is currently investigating an animal cruelty incident that was reported to them on the morning of May 12, 2015.
Tucson Police Department officers responded to the 2500 block of East Ajo Way to a report of a dog that had been tied to a tree and left in the desert area, barely alive. Pima Animal Control officers were notified and also responded to the area. The officers located the dog and immediately transported her to the Pima Animal Care Center for veterinarian care.
