Spikes Found On Tucson Streets Again

Tucson Police report that steel spikes were found sticking out of manhole covers at five different locations across the east side of Tucson Tuesday morning. This is the third time spikes have been located in the roadway, causing damage to passing vehicles.

In late January police received the first reports and then again in late April. On Tuesday morning, ten different vehicles were damaged by roadway spikes.

Detectives are investigating the incidents and are asking the public to call 911 with any information about who may be responsible. You can also report information to 88-CRIME if you wish to remain anonymous.
