On Tuesday, 11 people in a total of 6 vehicles were trapped in their vehicles on Twin Peaks near Quarry Road.
Tucson Electric Power, Northwest Fire, and Marana Police worked together to rescue them.
The storm that passed through northwest Pima County on Tuesday afternoon. It downed 10 Tucson Electric Power poles, and 20 Trico Electric Cooperative poles.
The storm, which also wuprooted trees left 1,300 people without power until 4 p.m.
