Vigils Planned In Phoenix, Tucson To Mourn Orlando Nightclub Victims

The Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation will be holding a vigil in downtown Tucson, and one is at the Phoenix Pride LGBT Center in downtown Phoenix tonight.

“Phoenix stands with Orlando. Multi-faith vigil 7 p.m. tonight for victims of this morning’s horrific mass shooting,” Stanton said in a post on Twitter.

The Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation is organizing a candlelight vigil tonight at 8:00 p.m. at 522 North 4th Avenue.

Adam Ragan, Associate Director of LGBTQ Initiatives at SAAF, stated: “The loss of so many of our brothers and sisters hurts my heart. For all the gains the LGBTQ community has achieved, we still face attacks in the places we go. However, we are not deterred and we will honor the memory of those lost today by continuing to work for equality.”
