On Sunday, October 16, 2016, just after 8:30 p.m., Pima County deputies responded to a residence in the 4300 block of West Valencia Road for the report of an unknown problem.
When deputies arrived, they discovered a deceased adult male with apparent gunshot wounds. Just after 9:00 p.m. on the same day, San Xavier District deputies responded to a second unknown problem call at a residence in the 5000 block of West Tillery Street.
Responding deputies discovered a conscious adult male with apparent gunshot wounds. The man was immediately transported to the hospital for treatment. His initial condition was listed as stable.
Homicide detectives, along with detectives from the Robbery/Assault Unit and the Night Detective Squad, responded to both incidents and took over the investigation.
