On Friday night, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Pima County deputies responded to the U.S. Bank located at 7110 North Oracle Road for the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, deputies learned that a male suspect entered the Safeway store where the bank is located, handed the bank teller a bag and demanded cash from the drawer.
The teller gave the cash to the suspect, at which time he exited the store.
The suspect is described as:
• Caucasian, appearing to be in his 50’s
• Approximately 5’10” in height, with a medium build
• Last seen wearing a U of A hat over a Santa hat, glasses, a red button down long sleeve shirt, and jeans
Detectives responded to the scene to conduct an initial investigation. They are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect from this case.
